Subsequently, in 1968, he successfully cleared the CSS exam and secured a position in the Internal Revenue Service. Through hard work, dedication, and an exceptional performance record, he ascended to the highest grade, Grade 22 (equivalent to the grade of Federal Secretary). During his tenure, Mr. Malik held key roles such as Commissioner, Chief Commissioner, Member of Information Technology at FBR, and Director General of Training. Notably, he played a pivotal role in training around 1000 officers in the Internal Revenue service.
